Professional Summary:
This Ph.D has nearly thirty-five years of academic and industry experience with a focus on the design of complex Integrated Circuits, ASICS and microcontroller technology. Currently, he is developing and teaching a series of design verification courses at Santa Clara University. The courseware acquaints students with major tools and techniques presently used in industry to verify large, complex digital designs and the research trends that may lead to tomorrow's preferred tools. He has been active in digital test and design-for-test (DFT), publishing a textbook in 1986 entitled "Digital Logic Testing and Simulation"; the 2nd edition was completed in July, 2003. During his early years with IBM he worked on some of industry's earliest simulation and test program development projects including the development of a complex, real-time software control application. |
